On The Tracks Brewery was a hit at the festival. The Northumbrian Vanilla Brown was definitely the favorite early in the night, and was tapped out after only 1 hour! Mild Amber was popular with the ladies as always, and the Ginger beer was tickling everyone's taste buds! We had a great time showing off our beers, tasting new brews, and especially meeting the fellow craft beer lovers of San Diego!
Here are a few pics from the night:
The three of us definitely left our mark on the San Diego Festival of Beer 2012! Thank you for coming out for the fun Clarissa and Chatel!
This group was a big fan of the Northumbrian Vanilla Brown ... along with many MANY others. It's my personal favorite as well!
Just another Adventure of Batman and Robin!
My best friend, partner in crime, wing man, little little sister, and fellow craft beer lover!
Cheers to brewing beer, drinking beer, and great friends!
Tess Jr. and Tess!
Everyone can appreciate good head!
Hillcrest Brewing Company did NOT disappoint and came through with Pearl Necklace Pale Ale ... and everyone got a free pearl necklace with a tasting!! LOL!!
This sums up the fun times had at the Festival of Beer. There were tons of people, great t-shirts, and even Slater's 50/50 burgers!!!!
We always like to support our men as well! Make sure to check out when the next Pints For Prostates event is happening near you!!
We finally tapped out on our tastings and had to call it a night! Good times had by all! If you didn't get a chance to check out the festival next year, make sure you mark in on your calendar for next year!
Meanwhile at the brewery:
On The Tracks has recently started a few specials for the ladies and the men that love them!! Take advantage of their Ladies Night special which gives all ladies $3 pints of their Mild Amber brews!
Like Monday Night Football? So do we!! Come by the brewery for the game and receive $2 light beer pints for the first half of the game and $3 light beer pints for the second half of the game.
HOPpenin' Fact of the Week:
In the Middle Ages (a part of European history between the 5th and 15th century) clean water was difficult to find. So many people chose to drink beer instead because the alcohol made it safer to drink than water. Safety first friends!!!!
Cheers!
Tess
